The High court has cleared the Bison Polo Ground for the construction of Telangana state secretariat the dream project of K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister.
It may be noted that the Chief Minister has been working hard for the sake of getting the Bison Polo ground a part of the parade grounds here in Secunderabad for the sake of construction of a new building for the state secretariat.
The Chief Minister earlier opined that the existing Secretariat was very congested and that it does not have enough space even for holding a meeting or a lunch for around 100 officials. Some of them dubbed it as not having proper Vaastu.
But KCR wanted a monumental building which could have an all in one like facilities where a good number of people can meet together and chalk out policies for the state.
The court, on the other hand, has suggested that the state can submit proposals for the new Secretariat to the Centre for further clearances.
