Nitin Gadkari was sitting with Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief during the Republic Day Parade. Many of them raised their eyebrows as to what was going on between Gadkari and Rahul. Talking at a function Gadkari said that the political leaders keep spinning dreams but if they cannot implement them and show the results, the people will give them a beating. Was he referring to the PM Modi indirectly is the question. I am not the one who spin dreams. Whatever I promise I will walk the talk and complete the work in stipulated time said Gadkari.
Ever since there were rumours that Gadkari would be the alternative for the PMs post, there were some differences cropping up between the PM and Gadkari it is reported. Gadkari has been attacking the Government in a subtle manner in general. He was making statements General in nature, but they were hitting the Prime Minister directly.
So Gadkari concluded that we must promise the people whatever is possible practically.
