Governor Narasimhan today said that the Telangana Government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was marching towards Bangaru Telangana. There is an all round development in all the sectors of the state the Governor said. He was addressing the joint session of the Assembly.
The Governor mentioned the sectors of irrigation, power, drinking water, the welfare of the farmers and the insurance of the farmers where the Government has made rapid strides in the last 4 years. More development is going on in these sectors and new areas are being identified for the development he stated.
He also mentioned about the welfare of the handloom weaver. Welfare has been the hallmark of this government he opined. The power situation has stabilised and the farmers are getting free quality power he stated. He also said Rythu Beema the insurance scheme for the farmers is one the best schemes in the country.
He talked about Mission Bageeratha and also Kakatiya and praised the efforts of the Government in the development of water resources. He also said that the government was making rapid strides in industrial development.
For the first time, there was no Hungama from the members of the opposition during the Governors speech. The members conducted themselves very well in the Governor’s address. The Governor made his speech for about half an hour.
