Even before the Federal Front has taken shape, the TRS cadres especially the top rung leaders are optimistic that K Chandrasekhar Rao would get the post of PM or Deputy PM in the near future.
There is loud thinking in the TRS leaders that KCR will form the Federal Front and would become the Kingmaker in the near future. They think that the Federal Front may get better number of seats compared to the BJP and the Congress. This would give KCR the opportunity to become the PM or the Deputy PM. If not KCR might bargain for 3 or 4 central minister posts.
The Federal Front would not only bring parties against the Congress and BJP together but would showcase themselves with 40 MP seats. Even if BJP comes to power both KCR and YSRC combine will be in a position to dictate the centre. KCR will demand his pound of flesh in the power-sharing and there is no doubt about it.
KTR has been harping on the fact that the TRS must get all the seats in Telangana. We have 17 here and 25 in Andhra Pradesh. So if the YSRC gets 20 seats, the TRS and YSRC combine will have 37 seats which is a big number.
No other party is expected to get the majority required at the centre. Even if the BJP gets a good number of seats and becomes the single largest party, they would have to depend on the outside support and that is where KCR is going to play the key role and bargain for power. If the Federal Front gets the majority then KCR will be the Prime Minister.
