The Chairman of the Telangana Council disqualified 3 MLAs for crossing over to the Congress party. Earlier the TRS party has complained to the Speaker that the crossing over was illegal and they must be disqualified.
Ramulu Naik, Yadava Reddy, Bhupathi Reddy are the three MLCs who were disqualified by the Chairman of the council Swamy Goud. A bulletin to this effect was issued by the Assembly Secretary. The disqualification of the MLCs will come into immediate effect.
With this more than 13 MLC seats would become vacant in the near future. The election commission would notify for the MLC elections by February end.
