Azharuddin today clarified that he was not joining the TRS via his twitter. There were rumours that Azhar was joining the TRS and that he would be contesting from Secunderabad. Prominent papers flashed this news on front page. In no time the new reached Asaduddin that Azhar was joining the TRS. In an hour or so there was clarification from Azhar via Twitter that the news was not correct.
Political pundits say that Asad may not like this idea of Azharuddin the popular cricketer and former MP joining the TRS. Azhar in no time will become popular as a Muslim MP. Asad would like to be the single point when it comes to the Minority issue. He might like people with low profile rather than a popular man like Azhar.
There are rumours that before taking any minority or any other Muslim into TRS, KCR would definitely consult Asaduddin in this regard. MIM has been supporting the TRS from the beginning. That is the reason KCR might consult Asad before taking any decision regarding Azhar. But one thing is right. Azhar will contest the next election from any of the political parties.
