The voting in Telangana ended peacefully. It was like a festival that women voted in large numbers. Barring a few incidents here and there the voting was peaceful. In 13 segments the voting ended at 4 pm while the other segments it went on for about 5pm and the people who were in the line for voting after 5 pm were also allowed.The voting machines did not function here and there. People staged dharnas here and there for missing votes.
The voters came to the booths since 7 am in the morning and the trend of voters was different and they very encouraging this time. They came to the voting booths with all enthusiasm. People came from villages to the city for voting and they went to villages also for voting. Farmers and women voted in large numbers.In 2014 the polling was about 69 per cent when the TRS won the election and formed the Government with the support of MIM.
