The Congress party is taking the election 2018 as a do or die situation. It was caught unawares when the TRS chief KCR announced the candidates in one go. Even the BJP is taking it as a prestigious issue and by hook or crook, they want to cross the double-digit. They wanted to win the election and form the government, but now they do not have enough candidates to contest all the seats.
But they are gearing up to hold a meeting in Hyderabad and it is reported that Prime Minister Modi and party President Amit Shah would come for the public meeting.
Congress party is also trying to rope in Sonia Gandhi so that she would clarify on as to who gave Telangana and under what circumstances. Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief was here in Hyderabad and he is also scheduled to address one or two meetings in Telangana. In this fashion, both the BJP and Congress are trying to get the top leaders for the campaigning in Telangana.
When it comes to TRS, KCR is star campaigner and the people are enjoying his speech. KCR has started attacking Chandrababu left and right and is projecting him as the main opponent. It has to be seen if Chandrababu would campaign for the 2018 election in Telangana. Balakrishna the TDP MLA and film star has already started his campaign from Khammam.
Vijayshanthi the film star and former MP is campaigning for the Congress Kutami. But all said and done the TRS is ahead in the election campaign and has a clear edge over others.
