Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who is now being called as the Telangana Bapu said, that, Mahatma Gandhi has shown us the way to secure our rights through Non Violent and Peaceful struggle. The CM remembered Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his Birth Anniversary falling on Tuesday.
The CM described him as a great man who taught the principles of truth, non-violence and satyagraha. He said, forever and ever the Gandhian way and principles are applicable and role model.
It may be remembered that even KCR implemented the non-violent method for achieving the statehood for Telangana. He fought for 14 years and even staked his life for the sake of Independence to Telangana.
Finally, against all odds, he could achieve it and the central government had no other option but give Telangana. KCR was ridiculed and abused by people who were against Telangana. But he maintained his calm and cool to achieve Telangana. That is why he is being called as the Bapu of Telangana.
