Mining engineers help to Kerala:KTR

Taking into consideration the aftermath of an unprecedented flood havoc in Kerala, the calamity which has caused immeasurable misery and devastation wherein hundreds of lives were lost and thousands of homes were destroyed and many more were damaged, the Mining Engineers Association of India has dutifully decided to make monetary contribution to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund, Kerala Government to be a part of granting relief to deserving families and individuals affected by natural calamity, loss of life due to accidents or for medical treatment for major diseases and help the affected rebuild their lives.

The Mining Engineers Association of India represented by S.Krishna Murthy, Secretary General; T.V.Chowdary, Former President; B.R.V.Susheel Kumar, Chairman, MEAI Hyderabad Chapter and N.K.Nanda, Member, Executive Committee have handed over a Cheque for Rs.5,82,660/- drawn in favour of the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund, Kerala Government to the Hon’ble Minister for Mines & Geology, Information Technology; Municipal Administration & Urban Development & Industries, Government of Telangana K Taraka Rama Rao on 01.10.2018 with a request to contribute the same to the Kerala Government Distress Relief Fund through Hon’ble Chief Minister, Telangana State.
