The ED and IT sleuths raided the houses of Congress working President Revanth Reddy and his relatives. Revanth was involved in the note for vote case and also the illegal sale of land in Jubilee hills housing society scam. He is on bail in the note for vote case and is summoned by Jubilee Hills police for the illegal land sale transactions.
Now the ED and IT searches are on Hyderabad and Kodangal and it is reported that Revanth has invested in shell companies and is also in money laundering business. Revanth went to TTD and has returned to Kodnagal it is reported. 15 teams are searching the properties of Revanth and his associates.
Revanth knew that the IT sleuths would swoop on him one day or the other. He termed it as a political Vendetta for being in the Congress party. He predicted that the centre and state would go against him as the BJP and the TRS are against him.
The IT sleuths found that there are discrepancies in the election affidavit filed earlier. Revanth wriggled out of the Note for Vote case when he was in TDP. Now he also avoided the notices of the police from Jubileehills police station.
It has to be seen as who he would deal with the IT and ED raids. Political analysts are of the opinion that it may not fix him for the time being, but it would definitely generate some sympathy for Revanth in Kodangal.
