Bharatiya Janata party in Telangana is looking for the opportune time. It is not in a hurry. It is adopting the wait and watch game. The idea is to pick up the popular leaders especially the former MLAs who dont get seats in their respective parties. It is not easy to get 119 candidates for the BJP right away. So the BJP will announce the candidates after the Mahalootami releases its list.
They will offer the seats to all the bright and former MLAs who dont get seats in other parties. They will give the B forms and if the candidate can work out properly and if he has enough support and local base he may win the election giving a surprise.
It is learnt that they have named the strategy as the operation Ex- We have to see how far the BJP will succeed. When it comes to the winning horses they have seniors like Raja Singh.Bandaru Dattatreya, Dr Laxman, Kishan Reddy, NVSS Prabhakar, Ramachandra Rao, E Laxminarayana, to name a few and we do not know how many would win from this as MLAs. They may contest for 119 but it is difficult for them to cross the double digit. There is a game plan to rope in Parpoornananda for the election campaign. There is talk that he might contest from Telangana this time. They want to try him like the Yogi in UP. But in Telangana, it may not work as expected by the BJP.
