The Aadhar card has constitutional validity with some conditions stated by the court. The court today dealt with about 27 petitions filed against the Aadhar card. 97 per cent of the public are benefitted by the card and that for the sake of 3 persons it cannot be removed the court ruled.
1. Aadhar has to be lined to PAN cards.
2. Private companies cannot insist on Aadhar Data and phone companies cannot demand Aadhar linkage.
3. Over one billion Indians have Aadhar and that it is constitutionally valid.
4. But the court sounded concern about the breach of data.
5. The centre defended Aadhar saying that it ensured safe distribution of Government schemes and that it reduced corruption in the process.
6. Aadhar cannot be duplicated the court opined.
7.Aadhar not compulsory for school admission.
8. Aadhar empowers the marginalised says court.
9. Mobile Aadhar linking is illegal-not needed.
10. Aadhar cannot be regarded as the money bill.
