It was a remote village and not that popular earlier. But now thanks to K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana it is remembered everywhere all over the country and across the world thanks to the social media. Now people are looking at in Google Maps and are wanting to know what is the importance of that area and as to why KCR and TRS chose that area for the historic meeting.
Even before the meeting, it has got all the publicity. Now roads are laid to this area. The people from 31 Telangana districts are congregating at this Kongara Kalan village. Actually Bonalu festival was to be celebrated here this Sunday, due to the TRS meeting the Bonalu will be celebrated later, that is next Sunday it is learnt.
This is about 20 kilometres from Hyderabad and two brothers stayed here again the Rajakar rule.Pedda Komaraih and Chinna Komaraiah are the brothers who stayed here in two huts and fought against the Rajakars those days.
Komariah name later changed to Kalan. The people are happy that when no one bothered about the area, KCR created history here and now everyone is talking about it. Kongarakalan is as popular as Hyderabad now.
Now all the roads are leading to Hyderabad and then to Kongarakalan. Youth on the net are searching for Kongara Kalan. It may become the next destination for real estate after Gachchbowli. The lawmakers are hovering around Kongarakalan to see that the people will not face any problems. Now they have to impress upon the KCR and other top leaders in mobilising the crowd.
