Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that for constructing the ‘Self Respect Building complexes’ or AatmaGaurava Bhavans in Hyderabad by all castes of Telangana, Land and funds will be allocated. He said that, for this purposes lands have been identified in Kokapeta, Ghatkesar, Medpally, Medchal, Abdullapurmet, Injapur etc.
The CM held a review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on Friday afternoon on the subject of allotting lands to different castes in Hyderabad.
‘The Backward classes in Telangana are in majority and in large numbers. They are however backward in social, educational and financial areas. The Government has been taking several measures for their development.
In addition to this for their social, cultural, educational and financial advancement for taking necessary measures and for useful to their all-round development, the Government will construct buildings in Hyderabad for every caste. For this purpose, the required lands have been already identified and procured. Necessary funds have been kept ready.
At an estimated expenditure of Rs 10 Crores and in 10 acres of land a Self Respect building complex (AtmaGaurava Bhavan) will be constructed benefitting 36 Nomad Castes.
Necessary arrangements will be made in these building complex for the development and advancement of all the Nomad castes. In addition to performing marriages the building will focus as a centre of excellence for educational and cultural activities’ said the CM.
‘For all the Backward class caste in the state, the BudagaJangala caste of the SCs, the Yerukala Caste of the STs will also be allotted land and for construction of building there, funds will be allocated. It is for the first time such building complexes are coming up anywhere in the country.
The Telangana state is a role model not only for its communal harmony but also for social consciousness. Already lands have been allotted for buildings for some castes and orders have been issued. For other caste also land and funds are now will be allotted.
Five acres and Rs 5 Crore to Munnurukapus, 3 acrea and Rs 3 Crore to Dudekula Caste, 2 acres and Rs 2 crores to Gangaputras Caste, 2 acres and Rs 2 Crores to Viswa Karma Caste and one acre and Rs 1 Crore to Nayi Brahmins, Arey Kshatriyas, Vaddera, Kummari, Yerukala, Uppara, Mera, BudigaJangala, Medhara, Perika, Chathada, Srivysnava, and Katika castes. For the Bhatraj caste Half acre lands and Rs 50 Lakh funds will be allotted. announced the CM.
