33 people were killed when a bus fell off the ghat road which was about 500 feet deep. They were going on an excursion to Mahabaleshwar and out of 40 passengers in the bus 33 were killed it is reported. The incident occurred at Satara in Pune. The Bus fell into the Ambenali ghat which is about 500 feet down the road.
The police reached the spot and they were able to take out some dead bodies from the spot and some of the traveller’s conditions is serious it is reported.
They all belong to Konkani Agriculture University it is reported. Police along with the local people are taking up the rescue measures. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained and the police are investigating the case.
