Moderate to heavy rains are reported across all the districts of Telangana. Hyderabad and Rangareddy district also experienced good rain. Minister for Municipal administration KT Rama Rao has alerted the GHMC and other officials to resolved the issues being experienced by the people in General due to heavy rains. More rains are expected due to depression. The projects in the districts are up to the brim with water and water is also flowing into the dams from Maharashtra.
Due to the heavy inflow of water, the irrigation project works have stopped in some places. The farmers are happy that along with the Government, the rain god is also helping them with water for irrigation. The floodgates at some projects have already been opened by the Telangana government and the water being released. The rain was pouring in Hyderabad since last night in a slow and study fashion. MET officials have said that the rains would continue in Telangana in coming days apart from Hyderabad.
