Pakistan former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was sentenced to 10 years of Imprisonment today in one of three corruption cases.
On the other hand, the former PMs daughter was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in the Avenfiedl corruption case according to the latest report on Geo TV.
While the father was fined 8 million pounds the daughter of former PM Maryam was fined 2 million pounds.
The husband of Maryam who is the son in law of the former PM Muhammed Safdar was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment.
The issue was taken up by the accountability court and the sentence was awarded by Judge Mohammed Bashir it is reported.
The Judgement was postponed 4 times as there were not enough xerox copies of the judgement that is to sent and circulated to various officials concerned.
