Prabhas is related to Krishnam Raju the rebel star who was a central Minister from BJP. Now there is a rumour that Krishnam Raju might contest for an MP seat from BJP. Earlier Prabhas campaigned for Krishnam Raju and he won with a good majority. Now there is speculation that if the Baahubali star campaigns for the BJP they are sure of getting good number of seats for the BJP.
But Krishnam Raju who is not that active in BJP said that if he gets a seat he would definitely contest from the BJP. At the same time, he also reminded that the TDP got more number of seats in alliance with the BJP.
He also said that Chandrababu the CM of AP was cheating the people doing nothing for them. He opined that the TDP would fail individually in the next elections. The BJP is doing well at the centre and they will also fare well at the elections in AP he explained. Coming back to the campaign by Prabhas he said that it is too early for him to confirm. Prabhas is doing well in films and that he is a busy star. At the most, he might do some campaign not or the BJp but for the sake of Krishnam Raju on individual and relation basis. It does not mean that Prabhas would openly support BJP.
In reality, the BJP is not doing well in the Telugu states. That is the reason Amit Shah the BJP chiefs Tour was cancelled in Telangana. There are rumours that the BJP is hand in glove with the TRS and that they might fight the election with an understanding.
