The controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh has been arrested for making derogatory statements against Hindu gods.
Mahesh opined that Ramayana is just another story and that Sita should have stayed with Ravana and she should have been happy. He called Lord Rama as dagulbazi.
The Banjarahills police have arrested Mahesh last night it is reported. Several Hindu organisations and swamys have complained against Mahesh. Mahesh tried to give several meanings on Dagulbazi word and tried to cover up the mistake he made. Bajrangdal leaders have also complained.
The Banjarahills police have acted and arrested him and questioned till late night. Mahesh who knows the law very well argued with the police.
Mahesh earlier had a tiff with Pawan Kalyan and he wants to contest against Pawan Kalyan. He is known for making controversies and staying alive in the news. He had tiff with some ladies in the Srireddy episode. He had tiff with the anchors of some channels. There are instances when he walked out of the studio when people talked about this mother.
