PV Narasimha Rao the man who knew many languages was the Prime Miniter of India and hails from Telangana. Today is his birth Anniversary. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao praised him as one of the able PM of India and said that PV was instrumental in the restructuring of the economy and stabilising the financial structure of India.
A prayer meeting was held in Hyderabad remembering PV at his memorial at Tankbund. A prayer meeting was organised by the state Government and Bhajans were also held in memory of PV.
PV became the Prime Minister by chance but ruled the country for 5 years even though he did not have a proper majority. Some of his policies are still followed and was instrumental in introducing the economic reforms. He was well read and a great orator who knew more than a dozen languages. Wrote many books.
