K Kavitha who has been fighting for the office of the spice boards here in Telangana now demanded the remunerative prices for the crop. The Nizamabad MP was participating in aseminar organised by the spice board here in Hyderabad. She thanked Minister Suresh Prabhu for setting the ball rolling for special Turmeric cell for the state of Telangana.
The idea behind this outlet is to see that the production of Turmeric rises in the Telangana state and the same is being exported that the farmers get a good price for their produce.Earlier she raised the issue several times in the parliament and the central Minister visited Telangana and finally, the spice board is trying to locate a special Turmeric Cell in Telangana for the welfare of the farming community.
All this was possible due to the initiative was taken by the MP Kavitha from Nizamabad. She wanted the Turmeric cell by the spice board to located in Nizamabad as she was suggesting from the beginning.
