The Team India has done well and it has to further strive to take the nation forward he said. Before the NITI meet began Chandrababu Naidu who was moving dead against the BJP was seen in a very jovial mood with the Pm along with other CMs Gowda, Mamatha and others.
The scene looked as if he was trying to patch with the PM. The agenda at the NITI Ayog meet was to deliberate on the issue like the doubling of farmers income, development of the districts, Ayushman Bharat, Mission Indra Dhanush, Mission Muition apart from the 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation. The Mahatma 150th anniversary will be done at the national level with all the states put together so that the world looks at it.
The economy is growing at a healthy 7.7 per cent and it has to be retained and has to be developed further the PM suggested.The PM praised that all the CMs have strived for the Swachch Bharat and also digital India apart from skilled India. He also congratulated the CMs and their ministry for the smooth implementation and transition of the systems under the GST.He also invited suggestion from various quarters for the development of the country. PM said that the Government was open for improvement and innovations.
