The ED officials have seized a mall being constructed by Lalu Yadav’s family members at an estimated cost of around Rs 200 crore it is reported. Lalus sons and daughters are on board of this company and it is being constructed without any permission so far. This mall was being constructed in Patna.
This is part of benami property acquired by Lalu and the central Government has issued notices to Bihar Government over the matter long back. Bihar Deputy CM Modi has charged that Tejeswi the son of Lalu has been doing the construction without getting any permission of what so ever.
But Lalus son claims that there was nothing illegal in the construction. Earlier a plot was also seized by the ED saying that it was also a benami land acquire by Lalu family.
