The Congress party is calling it as a betrayal day as the BJP has completed 4 years of rule. While the BJP wants to celebrate and convert it into an election campaign for next year that is 2019.In the same fashion, the Congress is planning to launch a nationwide agitation against the BJP misrule and against the attitude of PM Modi. While the BJP has money and muscle to continue the celebrations and publicity till the next elections, the Congress is suffering from the paucity of funds and manpower.
Rahul has been losing election after election till Karnataka and he was fortunate to get Karnataka with the help of JDS. The Congress now lacks manpower and also money power. In this context, it is not easy to go full steam against the BJP. Majority of the corporates are with BJP and they want to see that the party returns to power. KCR the Telangana CM is working on a federal front putting the BJP and the Congress aside.
Both Mamatha and Maya are aspiring to be the PMs in 2019. The Congress will have no option but to support one of them. Rahul may not be the PM candidate. BJPs controversial leader Subrahmanyam Swamy says that Rahul is an Italian and like Sonia Gandi his mother, Rahul also cannot become the PM of India. It is against the constitution.
