The man who scraped through the trust vote said that he is not happy. Yes, Gowda the new CM of Karnataka said that he was not happy as the people have not given him a direct mandate that is the coalition CM of the state. This is not new to Karnataka he said. Several times the people gave them a mixed bag of results.

On the other hand, BS Yeddyurappa was recognised as the LOP in the house and the BJP MLAs walked out paving the way for the Congress-JDS combine victory. “I am hurt that people didn’t choose me. I became the Chief Minister because of the coalition, not happy about the position,” he added.
The BJP is sitting on the fence and provoking the disgruntled elements from the JDS and also the Congress from time to time saying that it is an unholy alliance. They are expecting something to happen and cursing that this alliance will not lost for more than 3 months.

In all 117 lawmakers have voted in Gowda’s favour. The BJP had nothing to do but stage a walkout.
