JDS leader HD Deve Gowda who is the father of CM candidate Kumara Swamy Gowda said that without the presence of Congress party anti-BJP stance was impossible. The Congress must be taken along with other parties who are forming the federal front against the BJP.
The central idea is to trounce the BJP in future he said. Congress has got the Pan India presence and it helps a lot in fighting the BJP and Modi he opined.
He, however, said that he was inviting the parties who were against the BJP for the swearing his son Kumara Gowda at Bengaluru. It may be noted that KCR the Chief Minister was trying to form a front which will fight against the Congress and BJP. He met Gowdas, Akhilesh and Mamatha in this context. But Mamatha recently said that if JDS and Congress fought together they would have swept the polls in Karnataka. This indicates that Mamatha is for the Congress party.
Earlier Akhilesh and Maya were also told that if they join the Congress they can with the UP against Modi and Yogi.
Now that KCR will be there along with Congress leaders, we have to see if the Telangana leader will dilute his decision against the Congress.
There is a chance that only Gowda will take oath at the kanteerava Stadium and then they will decide on the cabinet and the portfolios be sworn in later by the Governor. Then he would also prove the majority on the floor of the house. Anti-BJP stance not possible without the Congress party the senior Gowda clarified.
