Chandrababu Naidu the CM of AP who turns 68 today is fasting for the special status of Andhra Pradesh. The day is his birthday and one has to be with the family members but Chandrababu is sitting on a fast for one day. It looked as of Jagan was sitting on a hunger strike. The setting is the same and babu is greeting the people with folded hands. Some public representatives are also sitting by his side.
The hunger strike is from 7 am to 7 pm . The protest is against the Prime Minister and central government for not according to the special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh as promised earlier. The IGMC stadium in Vijayawada was decked up for the CM and the security was beefed up. Ambulance and doctors were stationed at the venue in case emergency.
The people were allowed to greet him and babu is meeting some and greeting some with folded hands. After garlanding the statue of Mahatma, Babu began his hunger strike. Priests from TTD, Kanaka Durga temple and all other religions blessed him today on account of his birthday.
People from all walks of life were seen going around the venue and behind the venue demanding the special status for the state of AP. Babu after Deeksha will once again protest with the centre and demand for the special status to the state.
