Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu today participated in the Ugadi celebrations at Rajbhavan. People in life must have some culture also. Music promotes good culture in people he said.
We must teach the children out history and they must be taught about our culture. He complimented KCR for giving due importance to Telugu and Telugu medium. Language must be protected he said. Regional languages must be known to their own regional people. We must respect our country, our language, and also our language he said.
Our culture is that all must be happy he said. One must not think about me it should be we he said. One must think of the welfare of all in the community he said. Venkaiah said that there must be a rule where if the people do not know the local language they must not be given the Government job.
Knowing local language should be treated as a compulsion for getting the Government job he said. People across the country must know the local language he opined. That is one way of protecting the language he explained.
