It is said that Rajinis 2.0 is all set to break the records of Baahubali.
Now Rajinikanths eagerly-awaited ‘2.0’ has broken a record previously held by Prabhas’ magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2’ even before hitting screens.
As it so happens, the Kerala theatrical rights of ‘2.0’ have been acquired by a leading firm for a whopping sum of Rs 16.5 crore.
And, it goes without saying that this a record for a non-Malayalam film. The Kerala distribution rights of ‘Baahubali 2’ were acquired for Rs10.5 crore and was the previous highest.
Well, we are happy for the ‘2.0’ team and hope that the film turns out to be a commercial success.
This is a busy time for Rajinikanth. Besides ‘2.0’, he also has ‘Kaala’ in his kitty. The film is a Pa Ranjith directorial and will see Rajini essay the role of a gangster. It will hit screens after ‘2.0’.
At the same time, Rajini is busy with politics also and is ready to announce the party’s name soon.
