Aadhar business was floated by Nandan Nilakeni who came out of Infosys in the Congress regime. The first beneficiary of the Aadhar is the small xerox shops who get business on daily basis. Each copy is sold for Rs 2 front and back and this is an unending business.

Every tom dick and harry for each and everything they ask for Aadhar xerox. But the reality is that most of the data on Aadhar is copied from the owner’s ration card.

The ration card itself has bogus information and the same is diverted to the Aadhar. The central government has to pay to the company which gives this ID and now it is open for all which is a big security breach.

Former Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Chairman Nandan Nilekani said there was an “orchestrated campaign” to malign Aadhaar. He was reacting to the filing of an FIR on The Tribunenewspaper report relating to the Aadhaar data breach.

“There is hundred percent an orchestrated campaign to see how Aadhaar gets maligned, yes absolutely,” Mr Nilekani told on the sidelines of the Infosys Science Foundation Award.

Delhi Police had registered the FIR on a complaint by an UIDAI official following the newspaper report on data breach of more than 1 billion Aadhaar cards, naming the journalist behind the story.
