Hero Nagarjuna who faced kabja that is, land grabbing allegations from the state earlier is now hit by a jolt from the central Government. The Centre has removed the NGO recognition for Nagarjuna’s Akkineni foundation formed in the name of his father Nageshwar Rao Akkineni.
The centre has taken out of the Akkineni foundation as they have failed to file the returns so far. Nagarjuna also received some notices from banks as he did not pay the loans taken in the name of Annapurna studios named after his mother.
The Akkineni foundation was asked by the centre to come clear ion the financial transactions and also file the returns.
The foundation gives awards to film stars in India for their outstanding contribution to the cinema in the name of Akkineni Nagaehwara Rao the legendary actor.
