There was news that a film of KCR was being made and it was titled as Gulal. Nawajuddin Siddique was supposed to play the role of KCR. They said that the life and deeds of KCR for achieving Telangana would be recorded so that the future generations will know about it.
But no one knows if the movie is progressing or if it has been shelved for reasons best known to them.
Now the latest is that a biopic on former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhar Reddy is currently in the pipeline and will be directed by Mahi Raghav who shot to fame with Anando Bramha starring Taapsee Pannu.
However, reports are also doing rounds that Malayalam top star Mammootty may be roped in to play the lead role of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The makers haven’t yet confirmed this development about the biopic.
