More or less the rural masses from the BJP have warned the BJP to set things right. Modi with great difficulty managed to make a comeback. It clearly shows that the people are unhappy with demonetisation and GST.
It is not a disaster for BJP, but it is a clear setback. Modi now has to think twice before going to Karnataka.
The BJP must think that it cannot impose restriction further on people in the name of corruption, especially in the Banking sector. Modi cannot impose restrictions on the individual’s money.
It is good for Congress that the Rahul who has matured in the campaigning has been able to give a tough challenge to Modi.
The Congress party has not done very bad either and the BJP has been able to save its face, with the active campaigning of Modi.
The people have given a definite caution to Modi not to deviate away from the public interest.
Modi should not take a further risk in the name of reforms. There was no anti-incumbency but the vote was against GST in rural areas.
Let’s hope the BJP will make the course correction for a better future.
