The high-altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh is all set to receive another round of heavy snowfall, rains in coming days, the Meteorological Department predicted.
According to IMD, widespread rainfall and snow will last the state on December 11 and 12 whereas scattered rain and snowfall activities will take place on December 13.
Earlier, isolated areas in the high hills also received rains. Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti received mild snowfall and Kalpa received 1cm of snowfall and 5mm of rainfall. Kufri and Pooh received 3mm of rainfall, followed by Shimla, Kothi, Sarahan and Kumarsein 2mm each.
The weather remained largely dry in most parts of the state, but strong icy winds lashed mid and higher hills.
