Mumbai is turning Rangeela. We are not talking about love and lust or the movie Rangeela of Aamir and Urmila.
But we are talking about a whitewash. Means not white colour, but about colouring the walls with VIBGYOR colours. Yes, the rainbow colours.
The concept is known as “Chal Rang De”, is said to be the first of its kind initiative in the Maximum city, to paint the walls and exteriors of slum houses with happy, vibrant colours.
To change them rather the slum dwellers into the brighter side.
The initiative has been supported by FruitBowl Digital in association with Mumbai Metro One, Snowcem Paints and Co.Lab.Oratory Asia, and is the brainchild of one Dedeepya Reddy.
The Chal Rang De team has already succeeded in painting the village of Asalpha in Ghatkopar with some beautiful, lively colours.
