Taking a dig at the Opposition for its false propaganda that land prices would fall after the formation of Telangana, IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao reminded the gathering that the TRS government was ensuring the development of the State, besides taking up several welfare measures.
Impressed with the Telangana government’s policies, industries were looking towards the State for investment and establishing new units, he said, pointing out that e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart had already established their fulfilment centres in Hyderabad.
“Hyderabad will soon become a logistics hub in the country and a gateway to South India,” Rao said, announcing that 10 more logistics parks would be established around Hyderabad in addition to the two parks at Batasingaram and Mangalpally on the city outskirts.
In addition to this, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had instructed the authorities to prepare plans for establishing a multi-modal logistics park spread over 300 acres in Shamshabad.
This would have integrated air, rail and road transport connectivity facilities, the Minister said.
