Telangana TDP working president MLA A Revanth Reddy is likely to join the Congress party sooner or later it is reported.
It is being reported that Revanth is in touch with the Congress high command which has almost given a green signal to him to join the party.
However, Revanth is said to be demanding a key position in the party. A decision to this effect is likely to be taken after Rahul Gandhi takes over as the AICC president this month end.
The high command has felt that the party is in need of a young leader at this stage and Revanth would perfectly fit the bill. Since he is from the powerful Reddy community, it will be an added strength, say the reports.
Another senior leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu is considering the option of joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi it is rumoured.
