Mukherjee sir”, none other than the country’s first citizen, will yet again chart the evolution of Indian politics this Teachers’ Day at a school in the President’s Estate.
For the second year in a row, President Pranab Mukherjee will don the hat of a teacher on this occasion as requested by the Delhi government, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said today.
“President will take a class this year as well. He will take class on the ‘Evolution of Indian Politics’ for an hour,” Sisodia said.
A senior government official said the school that has been selected for this purpose is Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya like last year.
Mukherjee’s special class was held on September 4 last year as Janmashtami fell on Teachers’ Day.
