There may not be big-budget movies in the near future as the audience are not sure of coming to the theatres said the popular film star, Mohan Babu.
The era of real producers is over and the present age producers are just brokers setting up with the heroes for movies he said. He is working in the movie called the son of India and opined that it is going to be a hit.
The theatre culture is also going down and people are getting glued to small screens and OTTs he said. But Mohan Babu wants to continue the production of the movies.
He said that Rajamouli was a good movie maker and that his RRR must succeed. After RRR it is hard to expect big-budget movies as there is a risk of the audience coming to the theatres.
The ladies must come to the theatres and then only the film business will move forward he opined. Mohan Babu said that he wants a good character and also a good remuneration.
He is working in Saakuntalam as Duurvasa Maharshi. He is nearing 70s of his age, but he is physically and mentally fit to do the role of any character.
