72 students back in Hyderabad

On 8th May 2023, Telangana Government has brought back 72 students and civilians in distressed condition stranded in Manipur State by Special flight from Imphal to Hyderabad today. Another 34 are reaching via Kolkotta to Hyderabad by today evening. Hon’ble Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao issued directions to bring back Telangana students, civilians stranded in Manipur State.

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, The Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, DGP Anjani Kumar had formed a special working group with round the clock control room in DGP office. Students studying in NIT, IIIT, JIMS, Manipur Agriculture University along with civilians including 5 days old baby with parents native of Bhainsa town of Nirmal District are safely brought back. All of them thanked Telangana Government for its efforts.

Sri CH. Malla Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Labour , Abhilasha Bist, ADG Welfare, Mahesh Bhagwat, ADG CID, Sumati, DIG WSW, Rangareddy District Collector Harish, Aravinder Singh Secretary Protocol and others received them at Shamsabad airport. ADG Greyhound Vijay Kumar, Principal Secretary Industries Jayesh Ranjan, GAD Secretary Sheshadri, Resident commissioner Delhi Gourav Uppal, Director Aviation Bharat Reddy and from Manipur State CS, DGP, ADG operation Ashutosh Sinha, GAD Transport Secretary Shailesh Chourasia, Deputy Secretary David, Assam Rifle CO Prashant with others helped in coordination and security. Helping hands are much holier than praying lips has been proved in this proactive operation of Telangana Government.
