Accused Simhadri Bala Kishore age 31 yrs, Occu: Software Employee R/o Shivajinagar Chandanagar N/o Machilipatnam On 22.04.2015 performed marriage with Eesha Pani at the time of marriage as per demands of accused given net cash of Rs.50 lakhs and other household articles as dowry. After marriage couple stayed at Shivaji Nagar, Chandanagar.
After few days victim informed to her parents that her husband harassing physically and mentally and demanding to bring an additional dowry of Rs.40-50 lakhs for settling in America, victim parents requested the accused not to harass their daughter and also requested him that they will arrange Rs.25 lakhs as early as possible.
Even though the accused did not change his attitude and continued his harassment towards victim due to unbearable harassment on 21.06.2015 Eesha Pani committed suicide by hanging in bedroom. On 24/06/2015 the accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
In this case IO Sri. Ramana Kumar ACP after completion of investigation filed charge sheet in the Hon’ble Court XV ADJ Court Kukatpally. During the trial on 12-12-2019 the Hon’ble Judge Smt. P.Laxmi Sharadha convicted the accused Simhadri Bala Kishore Imprisonment for 7 years.
