After succeeding in developing the forest in Medak, now KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana is concentrating on the entire state. The chief Miniter was talking to the employees of the Panchayati Raj here at the Rajaendranagar.
He advised the employees to distribute 6 saplings per house and see that they are grown properly. The employees will be taken to task if the greenery programme is not implemented properly.
Accountability should be the hallmark of this government he said. Protection of the environment is the responsibility of the Government and also citizens he said. Corruption should be completely weeded out he suggested. The new Panchayat Raj act must pave way for a clean Government he suggested.
The rural environment change in the next thirty days to come he said. Earlier gave the plan for a two months programme, but now he has fixed a target for the 30 days.
The district collectors must take care of the accountability he said. There will be no dearth for the funds with regard to the Panchayat Raj department he assured. 8 lakhs will be allocated to every village with a population of every 500 he said.
Implementation is the key part he said. The plants given must grow to the extent of about 80 per cent. The action would be initiated if the programme is not implemented as expected he warned.
