A 5 Judge constitutional bench of Supreme Court headed by CJI Gogoi has been constituted to look into the issue of the Ram Janma Bhoomi and Babri Masjid. It has been scheduled for January 10nth. The Ayodhya issue has been referred to the Supreme Court after the High court has resolved the issue at the local level earlier. The matter has been postponed from time to time and now it is finally posted for 10nth.
PM Modi in his latest interview to ANI has stated that the said ordinance for the Ayodhya issue will be promulgated after the decision from the Supreme Court becomes final. On the other hand, the VHP and the RSS want the ordinance to brought in at the earliest for the construction of the Temple at the earliest. The MIM Chief Owiaisi is opposing the construction of the Tempel via the Ordinance way. The RSS and the VHP are hopeful that the Ordinance would be brought in before the election code comes into implementation.
