5 day Teppotsaaavaams in TTD

The annual five-day Teppotsavams in Tirumala are scheduled between March 3 to 7.

Everyday evening, Sri Malayappa in different guises will take a celestial ride over the finely decked float on the sacred waters of Swami Pushkarini between 7pm and 8pm.

TTD has cancelled arjita seva including Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on March 3 and 4, Arjita Brahotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on March 5, 6 and 7.The digitization of Manuscripts should be carried out by Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

A review meeting with Senior Officers’ of TTD was held at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Friday. The EO directed the officials of SVVU to speed up the works of scanning of Manuscripts.

He also instructed the concerned to complete the onoing Ghee Plant works at SV Dairy Farm on a fast pace.

Speaking on Yoga Darsanam the EO said, the programme got immense appreciation from devotees and said SVBC should take the essence embedded in Yoga Shastra in a big way to public by designing more such informative programmes.

He also said, SVBC YouTube should also present programmes on health, hygienic food, science and technology with eminent scholars.

Later he also reviewed on Gardens to be developed in Tirumala, more publicity on Cochlear, Smile Train programmes in BIRRD, Sravanam Project etc.

The online quota of SRIVANI tickets for the months of March, April and May will be released by TTD on 25 February at 12 noon.

Each day 500 tickets will be issued online.
