453 children rescued under operation Muskan

In Cyberabad Commissionerate ‘Operation Muskan -Vll’ was conducted in the month of July 2021, to trace out missing children and rescue children from Begging, Rag picking, Child labour etc.

During the period, a total (453) Children including (49) Begging children have been rescued within the limits of Cyberabad Commissionerate. Out of which (251) Boys and (59) Girls belong to within the State and (132) Boys and (11) Girls belong to other states.

Rescue of child labour it was observed that:

  • The children were made to work from dawn to dusk for more than 12 hours, without any break.
  • They were working under them for the past 3 years.
  • They were living in unhygienic conditions in small rooms without ventilation.
  • They were not provided any holiday.
  • The children were suffering from malnutrition, stunted growth and other health issues.
  • Children were covered with fine dust from head to toe.
  • They were aged between 08 years to 14 years
  • CLASSIC CASE:Rajendranagar Operation Muskan-07 team has received a call from Rajendranagar Dial 100 on 06.07.2021 at 11.30PM station that they found a mentally unsound girl roaming on roads, Age 14Yrs immediately Rajendranagar operation Muskan-07 team took the girl and provided her with the shelter at Home and started an investigation and forwarded the information to all the police stations.
  • A Missing Case was registered at Kalapathra Police Station, Hyderabad City. Once they received the information regarding the missing girl Rajendranagar Operation Muskhan-07, parents of the girl and staff from Kalapathra Police Station came to Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad along with Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and handed over the girl to their parents safely.
