Voting is going on in Telangana in all the 119 constituencies today. The voting which has started steadily since morning is slowly raising by noon. The polling is not as brisk as expected in the Maoist infested areas. Here the polling is upto 4 pm only.
When compared to Hyderabad the rural areas are registering good voting percentage. Women are coming in large numbers for the voting. A overall polling of 43 percent was registered across the state.
Some law and order incidents were reported in Kodangal but the situation is under control. Motkupally Narismhulu who was contesting on BLF ticket was admitted to the hospital last night due to heart problem.
The atmosphere looked as if the people want to continue the ruling party. Lot of film stars voted at Jubilee hills. KCR and his wife voted at Chintamadaka. Harish Voted at Siddipet. KTR voted at Hyderabad.
Some EVM issues were reported. Some VVPATs did not function. They were rectified later. Overall the polling is peaceful.
