There is no end to the predictions of the election pre-poll surveys here in Telangana. Most of the Surveys done for KCR and TRS have revealed that they would get around 80 to 100 seats. This was before the announcement of the 105 candidates by KCR for the TRS. But people say now the situation has changed. No one knows what is the ground reality and what is the number of samples collected in the survey.
The Congress party leaders claim that they would come to power and sweep the polls. That is their prediction and survey. Most of the astrologers are giving power to KCR. They say that the stars are bright for KCR and his party. He coming to power and is safe till 2020.
KTR is also sure that they are getting 100 seats and it is not based on any survey. That is hit gut feeling basing on the work and development that they have done in Telangana.
But the latest is that the BJP which is not in a position to save its sitting seats has predicted that the TRS would get around 40 seats which are ridiculous. They are trying and hoping for a Karnataka kind of Experiment. Even TDP also thinking on the same lines, but here it is clear for TRS In Telangana.
The agencies which do the surveys do not go into depth. They just collect samples from here and there and based on that opinion, they come to a conclusion. Some are just bogus cooked up survey suiting the needs of particular parties to confuse the public. Most of the opinion polls and surveys are tailor-made to the orders of the political parties.
There are a lot of examples where the people proved that the opinion polls were wrong.
