While CM and party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is exuding confidence that they would get more than 100 seats, 40 seats are in a doubt about the majority. According to the latest survey done by the party cadres, most of the candidates are poised to get a majority of more than 30000 easily.
These are the areas of MLAs who are concentrating on the development of their constituencies. But the party cadres have identified 40 of out of 119 where the majority might come down as they are not up to the mark in performance.
The chief Minister indirectly has warned the MLAs of these constituencies to keep up with the pace of development in their respective constituencies. Some of the constituencies have minorities in large numbers. The minorities and they must be developed hand in hand like other constituencies the CM suggested.
There is a loud thinking that some MLAs are not in sink with the people and Government and they might face the axe. But KCR earlier suggested that all the sitting MLAs would get the seats. But some sitting MLAs are going to parliament in the next election and alternatives have to be identified in those constituencies.
Harish Rao from Zaheerabad, Srinivas Yadav or Danam Nagendar from Secunderabad, Padma Rao from Malkajgiri could be fielded for the parliament. Even Etela is also being proposed for the parliament.
Kavitha might contest from an Assembly seat. KTR for his own Sirisilla. There is also a chance that MIM might suggest some candidates for the MLAs. They might also ask for some TRS seats for their own candidates.
But winning horses will get the seats and there is no second thought about it.
