Almost half of the candidates contesting for the elections are aspiring to be the Chief Ministers in the state of Telangana from the Congress party.
Along with the old team Janareddy, Uttam Kumar, Revanth Reddy now it is reported that ladies are also talking about becoming the Chief Ministers of Telangana. Sabitha Indira Reddy, Geeta Reddy, Aruna and some other ladies are also in the race for the CMs post.
This weakness of the Congress leaders is being encashed by the TRS. TRS campaigner KTR has ridiculed several times that there are a large number of aspirants from the Congress party who want to become the CM and no one knows if the Congress party would win the election.
KTR and Harish Rao have ridiculed that there will be a CM for every alternate day in the Congress if they come to power.
The 40 number could be an exaggeration but there are a dozen people who are nursing the ambition of the Congress leaders. Coming to power is a distant dream, but they are nursing the ambition of becoming the Chief Ministers.
This has become a point for the TRS to chide on the Congress leaders and it is working. It is reported that some of them have already raised the subject with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
But Sonia and Rahul know what is the reality. Coming to power in Telangana is a distant dream.
